Fr. Brett Brannen

Fr. Brett Brannen was ordained a priest for the Catholic Diocese of Savannah in 1991. He is presently the pastor of Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church in Savannah, Georgia. He has served the diocese as Vocation Director and pastor of several parishes. He received his training at Mount St. Mary’s Seminary in Emmitsburg, MD. He holds a M. Div and MA in Scripture. He served as Vice Rector at Mount St. Mary’s Seminary for six years.

Fr. Brannen has published two books dealing with priestly vocations: To Save a Thousand Souls: A Guide for Discerning a Vocation to Diocesan Priesthood and A Priest in the Family: A Guide for Parents Whose Sons are Considering Priesthood. These books have become standard guides for young men and their parents in discerning a priestly vocation. Fr. Brannen gives numerous retreats for priests and seminarians, as well as parish missions. He is an instructor/retreat master for The Theology of the Body Institute and he is an instructor at The Institute for Priestly Formation.
