Rev. Timothy McKeown

Overview

Fr. Timothy McKeown, ordained in 1997, is a priest of the Catholic Diocese of Savannah, Georgia. He has served as a pastor for 7 years, presently serving as pastor of St. Francis Xavier in Brunswick, Georgia and Our Lady of the Nativity in Darien, Georgia. He received his pre-theology training at Franciscan University of Steubenville, Theology at Mount St. Mary’s in Emmitsburg, MD and the North American College in Rome, Italy. He holds a bachelor’s degree in sacred theology from the Pontifical Gregorian University and a master’s in spirituality from the Angelicum in Rome. He also holds advanced degrees in Sacred Sciences: STL in spirituality from the Angelicum – catechesis as the basis for spirituality.

He brings a wealth of experience in pastoring in the spiritual life as he served the diocese as Vocation Director for 6 years and served as Vice Rector of Seminary Life at the North American College in Rome for 3 years. He has been a presenter at the Institute for Priestly Formation in Omaha, NE.
