Daniel Almeter is a member of St. Joseph’s Catholic Church in Augusta, Georgia. He received his master’s in counseling from Augusta State University and is a Licensed Professional Counselor with extensive experience in counseling and spiritual direction. He is an elder in the Alleluia Christian Community and has been involved in leadership, faith formation and mentoring other men for over 30 years. Dan has been a national and international speaker in many Catholic and Ecumenical settings. He is the United States’ representative to the Catholic Fraternity of Communities. He attends the “Gathering of the Holy Spirit,” a dialogue sponsored by the Center for Unity in Rome, Italy and in union with the Council for Christian Unity in the Vatican to work toward unity between Catholic and new charismatic churches. Dan is the author of Unity: On Earth as in Heaven.
